The Evolution Of The It Girl

For just about a century, girls all over the world have been making a name for themselves. How one becomes an it girl doesn't exactly have a definition; however over time the most recognizable it girls all have a few things in common. They have made a name for themselves through the over saturation of their name in the media; whether it be through a personal achievement or a drunken debauchery on the red carpet. Some of the it girls in this gallery are more "credible" then others. I was though that been called "the next it girl" is a curse, from edie sedgwick, lindsay lohan, paris hilton to um that chick on the OC haha this is my top "it girls we love to hate"
